After revealing new iPad upgrades, colorful iMacs, AirTags trackers, a hype iPhone 12 last April, they divulged the mass with the iOS 15, MacOS Monterey (aka MacOS 12), WatchOS 8, and iPadOS 15 during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Apple once again swooned the media with its third product event of the year.

It is no doubt that the zeal and enthusiasm Apple spawns captivated the media as they released the iPhone 13 that comes in four variants, the Apple Watch Series 7 and Airpods 3, at the California Streaming launch event last September 14. Five minutes before the event started, more than 352,908 people were already streaming the event on YouTube. It shows that Apple’s product launch is still one of the most anticipated occasions in the industry as it can still  generate immense consumer demand.

Despite multiple improvements on the iPhone 13’s camera features, critics panned out that not everyone would notice much of a difference over the last two models of the iPhone. Technology Editor for Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC) noted that better battery life is noticeable on the latest iPhone. According to Apple, it will last up to an hour and a half longer than the iPhone 12, which is good news for tech-savvy fans of the iPhone 13.

The 9th generation iPad has also been the talk of different social media platforms. Apple used the A13 Bionic Soc, which is claimed to be an updated and faster processor. It also stepped up the game for those who attend video conferences as it has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The iPad also has a major design revamp with an all-screen 8.3-inch display. The Apple Watch Series 7 also upgrades with a larger display and durability ratings.

Apple CEO Tim Cook entered the stage in an unoccupied auditorium to wrap up the event, praising California and calling it a place for people with big ambitions and dreams. This comes after they coined the tagline, “California streaming,” as they kicked off with a music video featuring major state landmarks.

Apple events are curated distinctively to deliver a sensory experience to its audience. It is no surprise that after years of phenomenal success, the company knows that to get everyone’s complete attention, engaging the heart and the mind is a vital element.
