Top Achievers of the Graduating Batch 2023-2024 Announced

After two years of tireless dedication and relentless efforts, the sacrifices have finally paid off. The top achievers of the 2023-2024 graduating batch were announced on June 7, 2024, highlighting the exceptional accomplishments of this year’s shining stars.


Precious Sabine Pinto from STEM F ranked first, Reizel Nicole U. Mendoza from STEM E came in second, and Andre Rafael M. Guevarra from STEM A in third. Roi Edan M. Victoria and Francine Dianne P. Cardenas, both from STEM F, tied for fourth. Jada Kaila B. Aquino from HUMSS A earned Rank 5, while Lei Hellen Nicollette DG. Rosaldo from STEM C received Rank 6. Ray Anne Denise B. Go and Zaynnah A. Trias, both from ABM A tied for 7th place, while Nhickol Andrei I. Aquino from STEM C was ranked 8th. Jasmin Anne U. Jumaquio from STEM D received rank 9, while Dañel Enya Sumalabe from STEM D rounded the list at 10th.


In an interview, Pinto said that previously ranked first in 11th grade, she felt a lot of pressure to maintain her rank. Despite moments of doubt, she credited God’s guidance and the support of loved ones for her success. She mentioned, "Balancing academic and personal responsibilities was difficult, and sacrifices were made, but then again, I made it as the top graduate of our 259-person batch, and I couldn't be more grateful. Everything I do, I do Pro Deo et Patria (for God and country)."


Following the announcement of the top ten graduates, the outstanding performances in different disciplines were named. Christine Dorothy J. Salac from ABM 12 was honored as Athlete of the Year. Andre Rafael M. Guevarra from STEM 12 received the award for Arts. Joanna Chiney Kaye S. Santos from STEM 12 excelled in Communication Arts - English, while Reizel Nicole U. Mendoza from STEM 12 was recognized for Communication Arts - Filipino. Jasmin Anne U. Jumaquio from STEM 12 was awarded for her excellence in Mathematics. Annika T. Gutierrez from HUMSS 12 stood out in Social Sciences (HUMSS). Carlos C. Amaranto from STEM 12 was acknowledged for his achievements in Robotics, and Zaynnah A. Trias from ABM 12 was celebrated for her excellence in Accounting (ABM).


The Best Research and Best Business Plan were awarded shortly after. 


"Developing Sound-Dampening Foam Composites for Mechanical Keyboards Using Sustainable Materials" secured Best Research. It was by Richard Gian A. Burgos, Miguel Amante A. De Guzman, Khimberly Claine D. Rodriguez, Ariane Mae R. Santos, and Roi Edan M. Victoria.


The Best Business Plan recognition went to Jasmine Jane C. Bartolome, Hershey Mishka A. Ching, Raphaella Ann J Galang, Ghabbie G. Litao, Gerald P. Lopez, and Jan Lyndzi T. Portez.


After the awards presentation, the candidates proceeded with the graduation rehearsals. This was headed by the Chair of Graduation, Mr. Raymond Mendoza. The graduation is scheduled for June 19, 2024.
