The Philippines reopens its borders to foreigners from visa-free countries starting December 1 until December 15.

As COVID-19 cases continue to decline, the Philippines will start to reopen its borders and accept foreigners that do not require visas to enter the country. Some of the visa-free countries the Philippines allows are:

Furthermore, the foreigners can enter the country without getting quarantined as long as they are fully vaccinated, from a green listed country, and presents a negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before their departure.

To those who are fully vaccinated but did not take a COVID-19 test before their departure, they will have to undergo quarantine after they arrive in the Philippines and wait for the results of their RT-PCR test that they will take on the fifth day of their quarantine.

They must also have passports valid for at least six (6) months at the time of their arrival, along with a return ticket to their origin country or to the next country that will enter after.

Those fully vaccinated must submit either a digital vaccination certificate through VaxCertPH, a national or state digital certificate of the foreign government that accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement, or a World Health Organization International Certificate Vaccination and Prophylaxis.

This same set of requirements is also applied to foreigners below the age of 18 and must submit a negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure.
