The Escolarian community showed their generosity by participating in a donation project entitled “Project TODA: A Christmas Gift-Giving Drive-Thru” led by the Supreme Student Council of Centro Escolar Integrated School-Malolos (CEIS).

A total of 80 tricycle drivers of Humel Heritage Homes received Christmas gift packs after generous donations amounting to P38,830.00 in cash, and in-kind donations were collected since the 6th of December.

The Noche Buena Package consists of pasta, spaghetti sauce, fruit cocktail, rice, cheese, sandwich spread, all-purpose cream, condensed milk, and corned beef.

The donation drive was done from December 6 to 16, while its distribution happened on Monday,  December 20, at the CEIS gate (CEU Gate 4).

“Everything went smoothly naman, there are no major problems that we encountered since may system and organized ang pamimigay. Also, may guide from the faculty kaya mas naging madali para sa amin ang pag distribute,” Santos added.

Gift-giving has always been part of celebrating Christmas at Centro Escolar Integrated School. That is why they wanted to continue what the previous Escolarians did from the previous year – Project NOEL: NOche Buena EscoLarina.

“Fulfilling. Masaya yung experience na to. Seeing their smiles and how happy they are as they receive the goods makes us happy as well. Kumbaga worth it ang lahat ng preparation for this project.” She added as she shared her experience during their project.

The SSC has successfully done this donation project. Proving that a simple help, when combined, can benefit many people—reminding us of the true essence of Christmas.

As for the future SSC projects, they are hopeful to have the school's own podcast and online intramurals next semester.
