With the theme “Radiant Leaders of Tomorrow: Catalyst of Excellence, Integrity, and Progress”, the elected student officers of Centro Escolar Integrated School Malolos gathered in the school lobby on November 16, 2023, to take their oaths and officially assume their roles as student leaders.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Raymond Carlo Mendoza emphasized the theme of being radiant as a student leader. He conveyed that the positions given to the students were not just a gift, but a trust. According to Mr. Mendoza, being radiant goes beyond mere self-promotion; it is about commitment.

Following Mr. Mendoza's opening remarks, Ms. Abigail Espineda, the CEIS principal, took the stage to deliver a motivational speech. She delivered a powerful perspective: “Leadership, in the truest form, is not about authority; it's about service.”

Ms. Espineda emphasized the crucial understanding that student leaders must possess – their role is not dictatorial but, more importantly, inspirational and uplifting. She further elaborated that excellence extends beyond achieving success; it encompasses the continuous journey of growth and improvement.

After Ms. Espineda’s inspirational message, the school witnessed the presentation of officers and the oath-taking ceremony, led by the 2nd vice president, Andrea Paulane Flores.

To formally conclude the ceremony, the Supreme Student Government President, Sebastian Bauto, took the podium to deliver his acceptance speech and closing remarks.

In his address, Bauto underscored the significance of actively listening to the students, stating, “Sa interaksyon natin sa kanila tayo mapapalapit sa mga kapwa natin mag-aaral at dito rin natin malalaman ang iba’t-ibang suliranin na kanilang hinaharap.”

Furthermore, he emphasized that every student, regardless of whether he holds a position in the office or not, is an integral part of the Supreme Student Government.
