Centro Escolar Integrated School (CEIS) Malolos celebrated Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan with the theme, “Pagpaparangal sa Kasaysayan at Kamalayan sa Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha,” last September 8 at the CEU Centrodome.

Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan was the first official coo-curricular event since the beginning of this academic year’s on-campus classes.

The masters of ceremony, Mr. Raymond Carlo D. Mendoza and Ms. Marly Nicorina Y. Lopez, warmly welcomed the students, faculty, and staff as the program started. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Ms. Zhaina Maria E. Cailles, the opening prayer led by Mr. Francisco L. David Jr., and the opening remarks of Ms. Abigail DC. Espineda, the CEIS SHS principal.

The next part of the event was the “Ang Huling Tindig para sa Ang Tinig”. It showcased the eight performers who were chosen from the online eliminations of Ang Tinig.

The eight finalists sang songs that showed connection with the theme, “Pagpaparangal sa Kasaysayan at Kamalayan sa Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha”. They also wore native clothes of the Philippines. 

Shortly after, winners from Tagisan ng Talino, Pagsulat ng Lathalain, Paglikha ng Poster, Paglikha ng Digital Poster, Tableau, and Ang tinig were awarded. The winners are as follows:
